• New Scheme: This scheme is proposed by the Bhartiya Janta Party during election time in West Bengal, and this is a new scheme. This scheme replaces and upgrades the already existing scheme of the State, which is known as Banglar Yuva Sathi Scheme.
• Audience Focused: This scheme is mainly focused on the educated but unemployed youth of the state.
• Financial Help: The government promises to make the payment of Rs. 3,000 every month as an unemployment allowance. In the previous scheme, the amount is given only Rs. 1,500/-.
• Motive to Launch: Government distribute this amount to support every unemployed individual for their competitive exams preparation and also for their normal needs.
• Usage of Amount: The amount can be used for their competitive exam application form, coaching fee, Transport Expenses, Education Material and also for basic needs.

Till date, the official portal for this scheme has not been introduced by the new government of the state. because this is the new government that made its government in the state. Till date, they have only officially rolled out the Annapurna Bhandar Scheme for the women of the state. And now the government, one by one, implemented all the schemes that they had promised to the local citizens of the state.

• Monthly Allowance: With this scheme, all the eligible individual will get the monthly stipend amount of Rs. 3,000 to fulfil their basic needs.
• Direct Payment: The payment can also be deposited in the account of the beneficiary through the DBT Mode of Payment. It will also ensure a transparent system of payment, and no middle man required for Payment.
• Support for Examination Preparation: By giving such a grant, the government wants to support them to invest this amount for their preparation for Jobs.

Eligibility Criteria for Youth

This is the expected eligibility criteria, as like the existing scheme. But you also compare the same with the official notification, when launched by the government.

• Only the youth who is a permanent citizen of West Bengal is eligible.
• You must be educated but unemployed and searching for a job opportunity.
• Every individual must be registered with the Employment Exchange.
• The income criteria are not clear to date. But maybe this scheme is going to focus on the low-income group.

How to enrol for Yuva Shakti Bharosa Card Yojana?

• The online application process or registration process is not started by the government of West Bengal, because there are some of the formalities left.
• AS and when the approval for this scheme is given in the State government cabinet meeting, then the official notification and official portal details will be released by the government.
• At present, the new West Bengal government has only implemented its first scheme, i.e. Annapurna Bhandar Yojana from 1st June 2026. So very soon, this scheme is also going to be launched.
• You have to wait for some time period, because the government officially launched the scheme one by one.
• When the official dedicated portal is ready, the government will implement this scheme.
• But here I am giving you advice that if till date you are not registered with the employment exchange, then you must register with the same. and also prepared documents.
• Don’t believe any of the persons who claim to have completed registration now, always check the information with the official portal and also compare the information with the official notification.
