WB Bharosa Kormosuchi Scheme 2026, Monthly Allowance for Unemployed Graduates

The BJP-led State Government of West Bengal is going to implement the new scheme across the state with the title Bharosa Kormosuchi Scheme (Bhorsha Kormosuchi). This scheme is also known as the Financial Assistance scheme for Jobless Graduates and other unemployed youth of the state. Under this scheme, 3,000 rupees and 2,000 rupees will be given to the unemployed youth of the state as per their category.  The announcement about this scheme was introduced by the West Bengal Government during their latest State Budget. This scheme was introduced by the Finance Minister of the state, Mr Swapan Dasgupta, on 22nd June 2026. This scheme will be implemented in the state from October 2026.

Recently, the State government of West Bengal, on 22nd June 2026, presented the same by the Finance Minister of the state. This Bharosa Kormosuchi scheme is also known as Bharosa Kormosuchi. This is a new welfare scheme under which the government is going to provide financial assistance to the youth of the state who are unemployed. In this scheme, the jobless graduates between the ages of 21 to 45 will get 3,000 rupees, and the rest of the job seekers in the other categories will get Rs. 2,000 as monthly financial assistance from the government.

Objective of Bharosa Kormosuchi Scheme

The main objective of the scheme is to provide financial safety to all the young candidates of the state who are recently searching for jobs. We all know that after completing our education, it is not easy to get a job according to our choice. It will take time. So in the period between completing the study and till the people get a job, the government wants to support all these educated candidates by providing them with a monthly allowance. With the help of which all the people get financial security from the side of the government.

In this scheme, as I have already given the details that government decided to provide the monthly allowance according to the eligibility Criteria and educational qualification of the candidates.

• Unemployed Graduates: All the candidates who are graduates and job seekers will get a monthly allowance of Rs. 3,000.
• Non-Graduates: All the rest of the other category people, like non-graduates, unemployed candidates of the state, will get Rs. 2,000 per month. 

Eligibility Criteria

The government only wants to provide the benefits of this scheme to genuine people, which is why they give some specific criteria for the scheme.

• Residential Status: All permanent citizens of West Bengal will be eligible for this scheme.
• Age Limit: candidates having an age between 21 to 45 years.
• Family Status: The family’s economic status must be less than Rs. 1 lakh.
• Tax Bracket: The family of the applicant is not paying any kind of income tax.

NOTE: All applicants who are already getting the benefits from any of the social financial protection or getting any other financial benefits of the scheme are excluded from this scheme.
