In this scheme, the government provides financial support of Rs.2,500 to every eligible beneficiary woman of the state. Now there are so many options available to the government to distribute the same amount to the beneficiaries per month. But to maintain the transparency in the scheme, the government chose the DBT mode of payment, i.e. Direct Benefits Transfer.
