The Government of Assam launched the new program, i.e. Aamar Dukan On Wheels. Under which government has the aim to deliver the 36 Non-PDS Items at the doorsteps of the consumers. The items will be available at a much lower price than the MRP price of the items. The government wants to sell these items at a very low margin of profit. The vehicle that is used to deliver such items is an E Rickshaw.  By starting the program, the state government of Assam also set the aim to enhance the use of online payment. The Government of Assam is always trying to provide different kinds of facilities that help the citizens of the state. This new Aamar Dukan On Wheels was also started by the state government of Assam, in which the government provide some items delivered at the home of the people of the state with low price than the actual price of the items. By starting this scheme, the government also generates new employment, because to deliver such kind of items, the government also need the youth as their employees, like delivery partners.

In this scheme, the government, without entering the middle man sell the 36 PDS product which is required by consumers in their daily life. They don’t have to visit anywhere, just sit at home, they can order such things, and a bill will also be generated at the same time, and the bill will be given to them by printing.

• List of Products: At the time of starting this project, only 22 items were selected for delivery, but now the list will be increased to 36 items, which include Sugar, Salt, Tea, Biscuits and rice, etc.
• Margin: The cost of the products will be very low compared to the MRP, in which the government will get a very low margin.
• New Technology: The educated youth of the state will also use modern technology, such as printing of bills through Bluetooth with smartphones and also encourage people to use the cashless payment system.

Eligibility Criteria

All the unemployed youth who want to open their Mobile shop under this project will have the following eligibility conditions.

• The Permanent residents of the Assam state can apply for this scheme.
• The applicant must be an educated and unemployed citizen of the state.
• At the time of applying for this project, the age of the applicant must be 18 years or above.
• You also registered with the Assam Employment Exchange Department.
• The educational Qualification of the applicant is also HSLC or above.

Who is not eligible?

• All candidates who are below 18 years of age.
• If you don’t complete your HSLC.
• Or if you are not registered with the employment exchange.

Documents List

• Residence Certificate: While submitting the application form need to submit the Assam Permanent residence proof.
• Educational Documents: Submit your lower to higher educational certificates.
• Experience Certificate: Any of the candidates who have any working experience can submit a certificate, which will also help them to have their name in the merit list.
• Family Financial Status: Also submit the annual income certificate of the family.
• Age proof: Need to submit documents in which the complete date of birth is shown, like the birth certificate, 10th class mark list.
• ID Proof: For ID Proof, submit a photo Identity Card like a Voter Card and an Aadhar Card.
• Additional Documents: Mobile number, email ID, and photograph.

Assam Aamar Dukan On Wheels Application Process

• This project invites only an offline application form, and the same are invited by the Deputy Commissioner, SDO, etc.
•  As and when they invite the application, then you all need to submit it within the time and also attach the documents.
• After accepting your form with documents, official check your eligibility and then selection of the candidates will be made based on their eligibility.
• If your name also comes in the Merit List, then you will get the licence for Aamar Dukan On Wheels.
• Then you will also get the financial grant from the government, and an agreement will also be made.
