Assam Kushal Konwar Briddha Pension Scheme: Senior Citizens Rs 250 Per Month

An Old Age Pension scheme in the state of Assam was introduced by the former CM of the state, Mr Sarbananda Sonowal, with its title Kushal Konwar Briddha Pension Scheme. In this scheme, the citizen who turns 60 years or above will be selected for the old-age pension.

The Assam government started this scheme for the old-age people of the state. 13 lakh beneficiaries take advantage of this scheme. This scheme was stated by the former CM of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal, on the occasion of 149 Mahatma Gandhi Anniversary on 2nd October 2018. If your age is above 60 years and you are not getting any type of government scheme benefit, then this is your chance to get.

The complete process is explained step by step in this post. Interested Applicants for Kushal Konwar Briddha Pension have to fill the application form with the applicant’s name, fater of husband name, Wife or mother’s name, gender, application caste certificate, address, bank account information, applicant’s mobile number and applicant’s signature. When your form-filling process is completed, then submit it to your gram panchayat, nagarpalika or Nagar nigam. For online, you have to do it via the official assam.gov.in portal.

All the beneficiaries will get the monthly pension, and the government wants to provide some financial help when they reach old age. So all the residents of the Assam state aged 60 years or above will be eligible to apply for this scheme.

How to Apply for the Kushal Konwar Briddha Pension Scheme Assam?

All the eligible beneficiaries will submit their pension application form offline through the Assam Panchayat and Rural Development Department. The application form is also available at your own Gram Panchayat Offices. Follow the application process.

  • Get the application form from your local or nearest Gram Panchayat.
  • The application form will be given to you, and then you need to enter the information as per your documents, like applicant Name, their Guardian Name, gender, Age, Category you belong to, Bank account details and active mobile number.
  • The documents that you attached to the form must be self-attested, and you must also do the signature or thumb impression in the place of the applicant.
  • Now, after completing the form, you have to submit your application form with documents to the same office from which you got the form.
  • Then your form and documents undergo verification, and if you are selected for the scheme, you will get a pension amount every month.
