To provide a new job opportunity to the youth of the state, the CM of Assam will introduce this new scheme, in which special high-quality language training will be provided to them. After getting the foreign language training in this scheme, the government is trying to provide job placement in foreign countries like Japan with high salaries. The aim behind launching this program is only to train the candidates and then prepare them for new overseas employment. More than 50,000 candidates in the state will get job placement in the state.

Motive of the CM Flight Scheme
In now a days every one having the dream to get a job placement in another country and earn a good amount for their families. Now, if you belong to the Assam state government has announced this scheme for the youth of the state to complete their dream. The main motive of this scheme is to provide Japanese Language training for new employment opportunities. Firstly, this scheme was introduced in October 2025. You just have to contribute a very low amount of money, and the rest of the amount will also be given by the government.
Features of the Japanese Language Training Program
- Market Focus: By implementing this scheme, the government focuses on Japan and provides skills in a foreign language, providing new job opportunities in Japan.
- Skill Training: All the selected youth of the state under this Scheme will get training in Japanese and also cultural orientation at JLPT N4 and N2 levels.
- Financial Help: In this scheme, the total financial assistance will be given from Rs. 1.8 Lakhs to Rs. 3.6 Lakhs, in which the government gives a subsidy up to Rs. 1.5 Lakhs, which includes Rs 1 Lakh at the time of training and Rs 50,000 will be given after placement.
- Amount Given By Candidates: candidates only have to contribute Rs. 30,000 by themselves.
- Job Placement: After getting the training in this scheme, every graduate will get a job placement in which he/she will have the salaries from Rs. 1.7 Lakhs to Rs.2.5 Lakhs in Japan.
- Job Sector: The sectors that are focused under this scheme are only IT, Construction, Healthcare, Hospitality and Nursing.

Eligibility Criteria
- Citizen: Every citizen of the state of Assam whose family is permanently residing in the state of Assam will be eligible for this scheme.
- Age Criteria: The age must be between 18 years and 45 years, and for some cities, it must be between 18 years to 35 years.
- Qualification: The educational qualification must be a minimum of 10th or 12th class pass, and a graduate with a professional degree is also eligible.
- Additional Criteria: You must have good knowledge of English and must be physically fit.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma expands the CM Flight Scheme, in which they introduce training in Korean, German and other foreign languages. This will help youth to generate overseas opportunities. This update is announced on 7th July 2026. Due to incrase on the depand of Skilled workers, Assam found this as an opportunity. They provide language training for their skilled workers, so they will get a job in countries like Japan, Korea, Germany, etc. They started this scheme with 50 students who learned Japanese, and after that, the scheme got a very good response.
