Features of SVAYEM

• Financial help: this scheme offers from 50,000 rupees to a maximum of 5 Lakhs, the amount depends on the members of the group.
• Targeted Beneficiaries: this scheme specially targeted the educated youth who are in the Self Help group.
• Activities Involved: after getting the financial help, they must start the small income and employment-generating project.

• The applicant’s age is not more than 40 years.
• The educational qualification of every candidate must be at least a 10th-class pass.

• ID proof of candidates: For Identity proof, you can submit any of the documents that are self-attested, like Voter Card, Aadhar Card, passport, Pan card, etc.

• Business Ownership Proof: Kindly submit the ownership documents of the business.
• Project details: The complete report about the project.
• SHG Membership Certificate: Also submit the membership proof of the Self Help Group.
• Bank details: Clearly submit the passbook copy which show account number for the direct payment of the benefits.

Steps to apply for the Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment Scheme

Most of the time, the applications for this scheme are invited by the District Level through an advertisement. So check the fresh advertisement if the department invites the form; if invited, then apply for it.

• Youth or self-help group members will need to get the application form from the District Office.
• Fill this form correctly with the information available in your documents.
• Then, attach the documents, paste your photograph and then sign in the place of the applicant.
• Then submit your form along with documents to the Department office.
• When your application is successfully verified by the department, you will be informed by the office to get the benefits and get ready for training, etc.
