Financial Support According to Qualification
There are two types of financial support provided in the scheme, and the complete breakdown is mentioned below:
- 4,000 rupees monthly allowance: This financial support will be provided to unemployed graduates who completed their bachelor’s degree (Any Stream), but didn’t get a job in the government or private sector.
- 2500 Rupees monthly allowance: This benefit will be provided to youth who have completed their 12th standard, diploma holders, and ITI Holders of Tamil Nadu state.
Eligibility Criteria For Youth
The state government will target the state’s unemployed youth, and they set some eligibility criteria for every applicant. If Applicants fulfill the eligibility conditions, then they will receive the financial support:-
- Only the permanent residents of Tamil Nadu are eligible for the scheme.
- To take advantage of the unemployment allowance, you should have valid documents/certificates of your qualification.
- Applicants should pass at least 12th standard to take advantage of this scheme.
- Applicants who are currently unemployed and registered with the employment exchange are eligible.
- The applicant’s age is between 18 and 35 years.

Tamil Nadu Employment Exchange Registration Steps
The official registration for the TVK 4000 Rupees Youth Scheme will start when the government releases the official notification of this scheme. Till then, you can register yourself on the Tamil Nadu Employment Exchange portal. If you have already registered, then there is no need to do anything. This is for the users who are not registered yet.
- So firstly, you have to visit the Tamil Nadu Employment Exchange portal tnvelaivaaippu.gov.in.
- Then you have to choose the login option, and then go to the job experience section. Then select the government/ public sector option.
- Now, a new page will open in which you have to click on the “New user, click here option.
- Agree to all terms and conditions, and then fill in all the necessary details of the candidate in the form and then click on the save and register button.
- Now one message will be shown on your screen that your ID has been created successfully. Click on the OK button and then go to the next page.
- Next is the candidate profile section, which is incomplete.
- You have to enter personal details in this form, like Name, contact details, qualification details, etc.
- When all the details are submitted, click on the preview button to check all the details and then select the next button.
- In the next section, you have to update details like your skill details and then view the preview and the submit button.
- When the process is completed, you will get a message with your exchange registration number.
- You can also take a printout of the employment registration identity card by clicking on the print button.
