To Make the girl empowerment in the Assam state, Government introduced the Scheme with the name Mukhyamantri Nijut Moina Scheme. In which the girls students who are studying or enrolling for their higher education will get financial support for their education. So that every parent of the girl will be able to send them to school for higher education without any kind of financial burden.
It will also improve the education quality among the female students. The financial support will be given to all the eligible girls every month by being credited into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts. So all the girl students and the parents of the girls, if you are also permanent citizens of the Assam state and enrol in class XI to post-graduate level, will be eligible. Mukhyamantri Nijut Moina Scheme
People who belong to the low-income with very low earnings are unable to arrange food and accommodation for their families. And they also face many difficulties in sending their daughters to school, because later they also have to perform the wedding ceremony of the girls. And without the lack of Money they don’t send their daughters to school for higher education. Now, to prevent the early child marriage and promote higher education among girls belongs to the low income group of families, the Nijut Moina Scheme is implemented by the government.

In this scheme, every girl who enrols in 11th class to post graduate level course will get a monthly amount of 1,000 rupees to 2,500 rupees. This amount is given to every girl for a maximum of 10 months during their academic year.

Nijut Moina Scheme Monthly Payment
This financial support, which is given to girl is like an admission incentive, which may help to all the girls to continue their further study in higher classes. Every girl, according to their courses like 11th class, graduate level and post-graduate level, will get the monthly payment. So when any girl who enrols in class 11th class, then she receives such payment. After that, the next payment will be given when the girl join first year of graduation. Then, after completing graduation, if she is also going to pursue post-graduation, then she admission incentive.

What is the duration for the Nijut Moina Scheme Payment Mode?
The above said amount is given every month direct in the students’ accounts. So the amount is given for a maximum of 10 years. Which means in the months of June and July, the amount is not provided to them. The same amount every month will be made by using the DBT Payment Mode.
